We were kind of tight this year for money, so our dog wasn't groomed often, so my wife called ahead before she went to get a price and the person answering the phone gave her a price of $40 for a cut and $20 for a bath and groom. My wife also mentioned that the dog had some matting ....but that was the lady didn't respond to that other than to say that that was the price. When she dropped the dog off they asked her what she wanted and she said a bath and comb out, no anal glands, and still the person (maybe different) said nothing about an extra fee for any matting. So needless to say, when it was TWICE that much when my wife got there to pick our dog up, she wasn't very happy and it was obviously apparent by her questioning. So they threw her a bone, literally (doggie bone) and cheekily said, 'Merry Christmas'! So since I have the last word, let me say, that is not what Christmas is about, a phrase to be used in sarcasm and fake piety. It's about
“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” NIV. So here is your Christmas admonition! Act uprightly and fair in this community so that you might be in the good graces of those you deal with, even if they all aren't the rich and famous.
