Dr Heimberger is an outstanding Surgeon. He has excellent bedside manner and seems to genuinely care. He has replaced both of my knees. The surgeries were a couple of years apart and I'm 100% satisfied.

Dr. Heimberger and his staff are awesome! They all worked together to get my brother into surgery as fast as possible. Even though there were a few roadblocks, they made it happen! There are Orthopaedic surgeons, well one in particular in the NC SC border area who is notorious for horrible bed side manner. Don't except or tolerate that when there are so many good Surgeons in the area. I highly recommend Dr Heimberger as I'm sure all of his previous patients will also recommend him
The physical waiting room and examining rooms are peaceful and pleasant. They are also "handicapped friendly" with automatic doors. I would HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone needing joint care.
I am a new patient of Dr. Heimberger. I have had 4 knee replacements. My first (right knee) got infected and had to be removed and a new one put in. Then I had the left knee done this year. I was traveling an hour one way from to my orthopedic facility. There was always a waiting period so it took most of a day to go to my follow-up appointments. Dr. Heimberger's office is 5 minutes from my home. That is the initial reason for my change. I had no complaints about the other choice, except for the distance. (the two surgeons are good friends!) Today I went for my 8 months left knee check up. This is my second visit to his office. I am overwhelmed with gratitude with this new facility I have chosen. I left my home at 10:30 for my 10:45 appointment and was back home at 11 o'clock. The office/nurse staff is absolutely fantastic. They are kind, compassionate and informative. Dr. Heimberger was very attentive to my questions and very reassuring about my progress. I don't have to return for a year, but he said several times, "CALL ME, if you have ANY problems before that time."
